So PRIESTS, one of my favorite new atonal rocknroll shit-stirrers, have a new “tape” up on the internet. They’ve imaginatively titled it “Tape Two”, for it is indeed their second tape. I gave it the once-over twice now within the confines of my car, and I’m really digging it – maybe not as much as their paint-peeling “Radiation/Personal Planes” 45, but hey, it’s a rough “tape”, right?

PRIESTS have fashioned themselves as some real political agitators this time. The United States is built on “lies”, because only white men who owned land wrote the Constitution 230 some-odd years ago. Wow!

Priests, let me tell you that in the real world, most of us thinking people hold these confusing, ambivalent truths to be self-evident, and in 2013, after the relative progress this country has made in becoming a nation and growing past its ugly birth pains, we really don’t get all that worked up about 1776 anymore, nor on where the United States stood on enlightened, forward-looking thinking relative to other nations at that long-ago time. 2013 has many ripe political targets for you to take aim at – I anxiously await “Tape Three” and its pointed commentary on ideas that I can sink my teeth into today.
