After our detour into dub with the recent Hemorrhage In Dub podcast, let’s get back to the tried and the true, whatever that is. This time we’ll be debuting new stuff from PRIMETIME, USELESS EATERS, SPRAY PAINT (pictured), CONDITIONER, FRAU, HONEY RADAR and others – as well as great reissues from THE TWINKEYZ and ANGRY ANGLES.

I’ve also got a set of ghostly folk music that mirrors the SIBYLLE BAIER interview & feature in Dynamite Hemorrhage #3 fanzine, with phenomenal music from ALLYSEN CALLERY, MAXINE FUNKE, JULIE BYRNE, MYRIAM GENDRON and JOANNE ROBERTSON to boot. And some late 80s Scottish pop! Buckle up.

Weeks in the making, it’s Dynamite Hemorrhage Radio #60, a kinda longish-running music podcast/phony radio show featuring sub-underground rocknroll from the previous five decades – and then some.

Because I dawdled and took my time w/ this one, it meant I was able to cobble together some stellar new materials from VITAL IDLES, SHITFUCKS, SAUNA YOUTH, ERASE ERRATA, RAYS, BUMMER’S EVE, SPRAY PAINT, FRAU, HONEY RADAR and even LIME CRUSH. Oh yeah.

I also wandered down into the Dynamite Hemorrhage Library and pulled up pre-2015 material from DANNY & THE DRESSMAKERS, BONA DISH, DIE KREUZEN, TEDDY & THE FRAT GIRLS and more top musical favorites of yours, on quality par with those.

Normally I’ll wait a full two weeks before recording a new Dynamite Hemorrhage Radio for the people, but I had an overflowing digital crate of desirable mp3s that I couldn’t even lift anymore, so I’ve unburdened myself with this outstanding 25-song, hour-long podcast that’s arguably the best mixtape anyone’s made in 2014 so far. Modesty aside, I’m pretty sure it’s the best one I’ve heard. 

I mean yeah, you have to put up with the DJ and all his meaningless yarn-spinning yammering, but it’s a small price to pay when you can hear brand new music from BRIDGE COLLAPSE, POW!, ALLIGATOR, THE IN OUT, FRAU, GROWTH, TUNABUNNY and other heroes of the rock and roll form. And when you factor in older stuff from Kim Fowley, The Bags, Chain Gang, Division Four, Jefferson Airplane and Rutto, well, now you’re really cooking with gas.
