Who out there hasn’t heard Ike & Tina Turner’s amazing 1970 b-side ode to drug parties called “Contact High”?

I sure hadn’t, until my pal Anthony dug it out of a record crate in the 1990s, and proceeded to later cover the song in his band The Resineators a few years later. It’s the most straightforward “rock” song I’ve ever heard associated with either Turner, outside of Ike’s early raw instrumental stuff at the dawn of the 60s. I think you’d better have a listen if this isn’t already part of your collection.
