This is not us. Nor are the records recorded by The Cheaterslicks our records, although they pop up online associated with us all of the time. And this band says there is no confusion in their using our name (est. 1987). This band started in the mid 2000’s.
How do you stop a band from using your name? We’ve asked these guys over and over to stop, and they won’t and they put out records under our name. Not worth getting a lawyer about, but it pisses me off. They claim they can use the name because they don’t put a space between “cheater” and “slicks”. OK. See what happens to the new band the Rollingstones.
Always loved rockabilly, always HATED this type of cornball rockabilly. That just makes it worse.
